Friday, September 27, 2019 - 1-021. I love the J.L. Chave Selection Mon Coeur, this is the 4th vintage in my cellar and hard to beat the value for this money. Dark purple, tannins are fresh, almost grainy; high in alcohol. Also a pleasant hint of immature green.
Scrubland, thyme, rosemary, licorice. Plenty of fruits: blueberry, blackberry, plum. Overall an almost sweet impression; glad to drink it a bit chilled. I will try the next bottle after 1-2 years of cellaring to see how it develops. Love this.
