Friday, October 18, 2019 - Evening at Charles: Very nice colour, slightly ox, so I guess and old rosé de saignée, and from what I knew I found the estate and cuvée...the year was a bit harder, but it showed really good aromas of red berry fruits, strawberry, and then after aeration in the glass the slight walnut bit, nice and refreshing. Palate is quite flat, no power at all, light bubbles, quite disappeared as well, so it turns into a very nice semi old kind of Alsatian pinot, great subtle ness but lacks of middle palate and length, 2/3 years earlier I believe I would have liked it better. Bought in 2012, so I guessed a 2007 base...
