Wednesday, September 10, 2008 - Reasonably well made wine, but not to my taste. Sharp edges everywhere! Rather austere and well-mannered despite the 14.9% alcohol. Raspberry brambles on the nose and mouth. Very nice mouthfeel, long finish. Deeper inspection of the palate reveals a soft plum core with jangly, brambly acidity all around it. I think it's just starting to fade, so time to drink these up.
