Saturday, December 14, 2019 - Opened last night with my wife. My first taste was after I had about 4 oz. of an oatmeal stout. The fruit exploded in my mouth. I really like sangiovese in general as an easy to drink red wine. I had this with fruitcake, the first taste of the season. I get dried cherry, some herbal notes, medium acid medium to low tannins. Really enjoyed the bottle.
