Wednesday, September 24, 2008 - Light yellow colour. Initially tightly wound on the nose and giving little away - with a couple of days in the fridge this started to open out showing lovely aromatics with smoky, creamy flavours mingled with apple, grapefruit and minerals. Surprisingly rich (for a Kabinett) on the palate with lots of power and rich flavours of green apple, pear, citrus fruits and earthy minerals. Good acidity underneath. Very long finish.
