Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - Nose is loaded with dark fruit. Its smells rich and deserving of the venison faggots. On the palate the black cherry comes through with cedar and cigar box, leather and hints of spice. There is some chocolate and liquorice in there too. Soft tannins and medium acidity. This is drinking now and I'm not sure I'd leave it much longer. Needed a hour to breathe. From 2008 onwards, this 2nd label wine is known as Echo.
