Thursday, January 2, 2020 - From 75cl screwcap. Boy, this is concentrated: An essence of Silvaner. Healthy yellow-fruited scent; alarmingly heavy, almost sweet entry; pear, very strong, bright lemony acidity and unusually heavy 13,5% alc quite evident on the mid-palate. Beautifully made, but was it worth the effort? Palate fatigue after the first glass may have to do with the richness of the 2015 vintage, so I look forward to trying the 2017 in due course (and am apprehensive about how the 2018 will turn out). No hurry. 89(-90)P
