Saturday, September 20, 2008 - This is 3rd time of my testing but how come...this is the youngest 1998 I've ever had.

Close more than open, full-bodied and very very young, well-balanced, good texture but I'm not happy with it. At 7th hour, the wine can not stay any longer. The structure of Mouton 2000 is much better. ( tested it side by side )

Aftertaste, oh yeah, the promising. Long, dense and powerful.

Drink 2014 - 2050+.....................96-97/100....................

ps. Ausone is the best wine for me, for Bordeaux, I love it the most but...

Now I know that I must finished the whole bottle within 5-6 hours for the top vintage and 4.30 hours for a good vintage. dissapointed this time !!
