Sunday, January 12, 2020 - This is what mature chianti riserva should taste like. An absolute joy to drink. Distinctive red fruit notes of Feslina. Spice and a bit of leather. I rarely have the patience to wait for these wine to peak, but nice to catch in the early stages of maturity. (And glad that garagiste offered these). can't wait to taste the 88, which is one of my favorite vintages over the course of my wine tasting career.
