flawed

Saturday, February 1, 2020 - Brettanomyces leaps from the glass upon opening, persisting over the course of an hour and beyond, not detected in previous btls of this wine. Green cow pie and leathery, reminiscent of corkiness, but different (IMO) in that it lingers on the finish, but not on the prolonged aftertaste. Tasted alongside VML's 2014 Cresta Vyd Pinot, my last bottle of this wine from Thomas George.
