Proper color, but bourbon whisky barrel flavors on a screeching acid backbone. Nose and palate are the same- terrible. Oxidized hell. Pretty much 8/10 of my Sauzets are the same from 96 on. I have however had a few killer Sauzets from these years but very rarely.
