Sunday, February 9, 2020 - Nose starts out with a touch of reduction, for me gun flint, slight petrol, wet stones and white florals, very impressive bouquet. Palate is a medley of tropical fruit (lychee, mangosteen, maybe some creamy mango), lime, and crushed stones. Structure and balance are on point, good acid, this is between a heavier spatlese and lighter Auslese in terms of sweetness, good persistence and lengthy tropical finish. In a good window now but I imagine will improve effortlessly over the next 10 years or so. 92-93+
