Saturday, February 15, 2020 - I let it breathe for 1.5 hours. Not nearly enough time. At first I thought the bottle was fried. But after hour 3 the wine started to level out. So I assume we're in a phase. Should've read the notes below and held this another 5 years. This wine needs an unusual amount of time out of the bottle. But if you can let it breathe, you'll enjoy. Muted fruit, but polished leathery, chewy tannins. Even better on day 2.... And best on day 3. Wow. Never had a wine that was best on day 3. A 95 then. A 93 on day 1.
