Monday, February 17, 2020 - I wanted to try this to see if I needed to get more and it looks like I do. This has a lot of the characteristics I normally find with this producer - a tannic spine along with some creme de casis and ample led pencil, but there is an added dimension of acidity/freshness to this vintage that takes it to another level. This is lithe, effortless, dances on the palate. What a beauty. I had the '12 a while back which was completely closed down and awkward compared to this which is singing even now. Could be best ever from this estate.
