Tuesday, March 17, 2020 - This was very good, actually still seemed quite young to me. The nose was rich and deep with plums, cassis, baking spice, a bit of damp earth, and violets. The palate was tight initially, gradually opening to reveal rich dark fruits, hints of wood spice, minerality, floral notes. Good depth and concentration, though the wood stuck out a bit at first. This easily has another decade.
