80 Points

Friday, April 24, 2020 - Deep, honey-tinged clear yellow with medium minus optical density, and star bright clarity with extraordinary specular reflectivity. Aromas of dried hay, banana, sweet citrus, and some tart tropicals. Really surprising depth on the nose. One the palate, a weak acidity for a softer texture that is a bit squishy. Medium body and dry, for a middle of the road structure. Flavours of hot and dried broken grass stems on the attack, with some light yellow fruit in the background. Not a lot of evolution or complexity from there, but a movement toward an oily dried pineapple of low intensity is where things finish. Unobtrusive and easy-going, with not much punch or complexity.

This is a value-driven and neutral white that is serviceable as an everyday light drink that fades into the background. Definitely not memorable or of special note, but a light wine that is not challenging on the palate so that other things can shine.
