Rather pale champagne so I suspect 2014/2015 base (if 2015 is already available).

This is one of the nicer Taittinger for me, mostly because a lot of things are going on.
Yes, apples and a bit yeasty palate... acidity is rather on the low side. But ripeness of the fruit is quite intense. A lot of structure and depth going on. Some aeration and slow warming up reveals another facette of flavours. From quite some harsh bitterness to some very harmonious pleasant fruitiness.
Would also be quite fun as a still wine. Body is medium + and quite a crunchy long aftertaste.

Would be interesting with some bottle aging and I wish there was a tad more acidity.
