Sunday, May 17, 2020 - Black red color. Opaque and dense hue but clear. Some signs of age. Nose is Bordeaux-esq, but more floral. Dark fruits, ripe blackberry, cassis, violets, rose, with notes of spice. Singing out of the glass. Palate is medium to full bodied, with great balance. Texture is lovely, but a little rough, like a linen or summer cotton. Dark ripe fruits, but not sweet. High acidity with fine, but meaningful tannin. Well integrated. Slightly sour, but long finish. Medium alcohol (~13%). Really really good wine and drinking wonderfully right now.
