Sunday, May 24, 2020 - I have not drank a huge number of wines that others would consider quality, but this was one of the best bottles I've ever opened. The standout feature here was the mouthfeel, thicker and coating, in a way that could only be described as rich. Flavorwise, it was plum, blackberry, and chocolate cream. This is to other wines what a thick barrel-aged stout is to other beers. Almost a meal by itself in the way it drank.
