Monday, May 25, 2020 - Michael & Elizabeth’s review describes this very well: their comment ‘papaya’ was spot on. I would add that I got a slight, and welcome, nose of pear drops. All in all a good balance between the ease of an ever so slight honeyed lift on entry (...within the context of this as a dry white of course) and some acidity to pull you through. This was £9.49 at Waitrose and felt meaningfully more complex than that price would suggest. A very happy surprise. I’ll be going back to clear the shelves: incredibly good value summer drinking.
