Saturday, May 30, 2020 - Opened for virtual tasting with Phil and Lisa Togni. One of their favorite vintages. Dark brick red in color with aromas of earthy black cherry and herbs. Still showing nice dark red fruits with good spice and depth with some early signs of nuance from age. Well balanced with a good backbone of acid. Built for the long haul, just in early adolescence, a long way to go, but quite good now. Thanks Don E. for setting up this special evening despite COVID quarantine.
