Wednesday, June 10, 2020 - 100% Spring Mountain cab. I let it breathe 1 hour. Drank over 2. Dried out cork broke on opening, but no problem. Bottle was fine. Consistent w/past notes, this is one of the less dense Napa cabs I've had recently. Like a dense pinot. So if you prefer something less concentrated, this is for you. This bottle did not exhibit the "old wine" flavors I got from my last bottle, so maybe my last bottle was damaged. The tannins are mellow and polished. Solid acidity. I get forest floor and sweetness out of it.... Huge drop off on day 2. So try to enjoy in one sitting if you can.
