Sunday, June 21, 2020 - 4 hr decant prior to drinking. All cabernet upfront, bay leaf predominate, blackcurrant and black olive. Very tightly bound still, but time open and the shiraz rounds the mid to back palate very nicely, providing a juiciness to otherwise long fine tannins and long lingering cab driven finish. Probably the best Penfolds wine I have ever had. Long long future ahead, at least a decade.
