Friday, August 21, 2020 - An advanced colour showing hints of golden amber and much darker than a Coche-Dury 1991 drank alongside. A spearmint nose leads the way with sweet lemon marange and a delightful floral undertone. This is full bodied, oily and creamy, with medium acidity. What was most incredible though was the amazing evolution of this wine over the night. After two hours the nose had developed an intense depth and complexity that was almost like a Sauternes with aromas of honey and sweet citrus. Just a delightful wine.
