Saturday, August 15, 2020 - Day 1: Quite a dense, burly wine, but lacking a little charm. It tastes mature but may soften up further given more time. Perhaps 89/100.
Day 2: This is much improved. It has a bright, mid-red colour; the fruit has softened and is quite intense and long; it is still perhaps a bit burly, but it is a wine of substance and now just about ready.
Overall: Perhaps not really grand cru quality, but still a very good wine which will probably still benefit from more time.
