Saturday, August 29, 2020 - Half Bottle. 92/93. Impressive aromas of plums, chalk, raspberries, and strawberries and light spice. Has a lot of power, verve, plushness, fruit and length with tongue tingling tannin. Impressive and young. 14.5%. Excellent QPR at under 20 Euros. Is a 93 on day 2 and 3. Lay down 2-4 years. I agree is a mini Chateauneuf. Needs 5-6 hrs aeration+.

8/30/2020 2:29:00 AM - Excellent notes, I am trying to get it now but it is difficult to get at least some Beaucastel of 2016. Howbeit I have its CdP of 2007 and look for a reason to open it.

8/30/2020 3:00:00 AM - Mövenpick and the Kölner Weinkeller here have Beaucastel 2016. Its about 69 Euros which is decent for the QPR for such a wonderful wine!
