Sunday, August 30, 2020 - Hour decant, the nose on this is very interesting, with rhubarb and celery notes standing out. The palate is very well balanced, with some red fruit coming through but this is clearly a savory wine with richness built into the floral and herbal elements more so than anything else. A fuller mouthfeel that is well polished, with medium length finish, the QPR on this is spectacular. This is one of those more rare varietals that is well worth exploring.
