Tuesday, September 15, 2020 - A beautiful nose, but an underwhelming palate
Aromas of sour black cherries, violets, blueberry, and raspberry. Some wildness on the nose, too. A “natural wine” vibe.
Medium- body. A somewhat thin palate. Juicy acids. Some earth. Medium- tannins
Good to very good length
A fine patio red, but be sure to ensure the smell which is the best part
It reminds me much more of an Austrian or German red than a Californian one (and that is a compliment!)
