Friday, October 2, 2020 - 2016 Barolo Tasting (Vin, Vino, Wine, Palo Alto, Ca): Light ruby; aromatic, red cherry and maraschino cherry, overall a lovely depth to the nose and complex; palate is red fruited, red cherry, tannins surprisingly well integrated for such a young barolo but still structured (comes out more with a bit of air), high acidity, high alcohol but well balanced; finish is long and persistent with red cherry fruits. A lovely, elegant Bricco, with a long life ahead of it. Next bottle in 5 years. 94-95++
