Saturday, October 24, 2020 - Part of the vertical tasting of Elderton Command Shiraz of 2005,2006,2007 and 2010 vintage.

A dense and complex bouquet of smoked vanilla beans, clove, licorice, ripe blueberries and blueberries plums and black pepper. Probably not the most forward among the group. Spicy and salty caramel with some blue fruits on the palate. Dry and dense. Full bodied with rounded structure. Transition to finish is not as seamless and deep as the rest. Ready to drink now and will last for the next few years. This doesn’t have the longevity of the 2005 vintage.
