Monday, October 26, 2020 - Purchased at the winery for the silly price of 25 euros. Disgorged in 2013. Pours a deep pink-red hue, darker than most roses and similar to many Tavels or Italian rosados. Rich red-fruited nose, showing strawberries and Fuji apple. Lovely fine mouse, full-bodied, finishing slightly sweeter than is my preference, but with a nice dose of acidity. Flavors of sour cherry, wild strawberry, fresh thyme and chalky minerals. QPR of my lifetime, at least at cellar door prices.
