Monday, November 30, 2020 - - Blind tasted
- Nose: Elderberry, raspberry, liquorice, woodsy intense aromas, sour cherry at the highest degree. Accompanied by cinnamon and vanilla. Few mature notes. With time a hint of smoky BBQ sauce crystallizes. Also spicy and more and more vanilla with time.
- Mouth: High acidity, straightforward, the sparkling acidity stands out. It shimmers through somewhat unripe, greenish almost bitter (which is not disturbing for me), a touch of perfume. Medium long finish. Similar to the nose in terms of aroma spectrum. Medium - in the tannin structure.
- For me personally a bit too woody, not enough fruit and a bit slim body. Good drinking flow but Burgundy vinification is preferred with more fruit core. Too little depth.
