Wednesday, December 2, 2020 - Opened for Thanksgiving 2020. Decanted for 4 hours, however, it didn't open up until the last glass, which was about 10 hours after popping the cork. Despite considerable sediment, it remained very dark ruby in the glass, with a slight gold rim variation, but it was barely there. Tannins were soft and dusty. Red fruits were still present, along with graphite, earth and eucalyptus, solid mid-palate, well-balanced with medium finish. Highly Recommended! The only reason I say 92 points and highly recommended, instead of higher, is I take into consideration QPR, which for this price point I would expect more, however, this is still an excellent wine.
