Monday, December 14, 2020 - I would echo much of Canuckgivers note - the interplay between the varietals is wonderful. Smoky, peppery, butchers shop from the Syrah, sweet dried fruits from the Grenache. There is a rustic quality to this, so a certain level of polish has slipped, but it's still very charming and modern while retaining a sense of honesty in the winemaking. On a long plateau.
