Friday, December 25, 2020 - I got this as a present from a colleague and I was wondering if the bottle was kept under good conditions for the last decade. I was pleasantly surprised when I open the bottle. Perfect cork, as if it was new! The wine is still developing and if you have a bottle, there's no rush to open this wine. I'd say you can easily keep it 3-5 more years. Starting to see little signs of evolution on the rim with some nuances of orange..but very little. Still has a lot of dark fruit aromas, mixed with tobacco, spices and cedar...and a touch of dark chocolate on the finish. Thank you for this great experience Josée! I don't have many opportunities to enjoy close to 15 year-old Howell Mountain Cabs.
