Tuesday, December 29, 2020 - Possibly one of the best young Baroli I have ever tasted - Think Burlotto balance, elegance, complexity but in a different register. Hard candy (Jolly Rancher cherry and strawberry), rose petals, red flowers, spices, but a bit reticent and likely to shut down soon. Grand Cru Burgundy-like powdery tannins, terrific length, and I'm struggling with how wines like this are a small fraction of what some of the folks in Burgundy are fetching these days. Buy by the case (I already have).
