Friday, December 19, 2008 - What a lovely example of aged Sauternes. Scents of honey comb, botrytis, and orange rind...in the mouth there is still great acidity that caresses the palate as layers of honey, nectarine, and caramel extend through a long finish...paired with almonds, figs, and a chamomile vanilla rissoto. A wonderful experience. (Tasted from a 375ml)
