Thursday, February 25, 2021 - Deep crimson color. Dusty nose with sweet red fruit, wet leaves, red apple skin. Low acidity, some ripe plum and (tree bark) flavors which do not linger. Hanging in there if just, probably at peak sometime in the late 90's. From the Joseph Phelps collection, so optimal storage conditions. Thankful for the opportunity to try these old bottles! You did a great job here even with the challenging vintage, Bruce.
