Fullish, generous and rich palate. Warm with evident alcoholic heat. Plum and raisin. Mineral and sweet liquorice. Dense and with some development but lacks layers and complexity.
Actually very hard to guess and place this wine. Not as parodic full-blown as prior Granges we have tasted. A fragrant style for the wine. But also perhaps a bit simple for the pedigree...
