Reminded me somehow of a top notch young Burgundy... The palate gives way to nice, ripe black fruits like cassis and blackberries, tanins are soft and mellow... The hot 2003 vintage is not showing too much, apart from a little lack of acidity... Nice bottle, to pop right now or over the next two years or so... My girlfriend thought it was very velvelty...
