Saturday, April 10, 2021 - Tremendous depth and elegance to this bottle. The nose still showed some primary fruits--mostly blackcurrants and blackberries with a hint of red cherry--but tertiary notes started to emerge after an hour or two in the decanter. The palate matched the aromatics with a beautifully balanced structure, finely integrated tannins and layers of complexity. Stunning now, but won't truly peak for another 5 years and will live a decade or so beyond that.

4/16/2021 7:50:00 AM - One of the great wines of my lifetime! That wine will go on for another 2-3 decades easy, every time I drink I love them and kick myself for not letting them sit longer. great note!
