Sunday, December 25, 2005 - The foil was depressed, but the underlying cork was perfect. Deep red/brown color. The nose is luscious and rich- forest floor, mushrooms, and a bushel of plums. The palate follows the nose with the addition of mint, and is quite silky with very little remaining tannin. It finishes well. The acidity is still holding this wine up quite well. Nice showing for this lesser chateau.
