Thursday, April 29, 2021 - Drinks singular if you will from PnP with nothing to get excited about but also nothing unappealing. Was only able to have one glass so no ability to see how it develops . Note to self to allow it to open up over time and see if it unravels or stays linear.

5/2/2021 6:34:00 PM - I gotta be honest. I've been a fan of this wine since Sir CSIMM's write up. I'm totally in line with his assessment. I just (tried) a 2018 Quivet Pellet and drained poured half the bottle as that was reminiscent of a quarter water from a Bronx bodega. A 3oz Coravin of this and I felt life was back to as it should be... Maybe not a wine for the faint of heart right now. But delicious nonetheless. Just my 2 cents... Cheers!

Anywhoo don’t get me wrong I love me some scarlet I just felt like it’s not showing as well at this time as other vintages.

5/2/2021 8:05:00 PM - I was thinking. Think of this wine like Adrian from Rocky. Sure she was shy, sure she was reserved and defensive and had her guard up around Rock. But after taking off the glasses and some clothes she opened up and Rock fell in love. I see this as a parallel love story (in some sick, convoluted way) but also as a real life early relationship template. Give Adrian at least the chance to come into the apartment and take off her glasses and get comfortable, GRazie Mille Paisan! Go Rock!!! LOL

5/2/2021 9:05:00 PM - I agree 100% but when lazy or don’t have the time, I tag in the technology vs coming up with excuses. It became a multi night fixture in our house during COVID. A great new pairing if interested is a new Charbono grape varietal from Matt Morris. Worth giving it a shot. Yummers

Thanks for sharing that. That was awesome!
Very interesting and intriguing. The wines, the views, and the stories.
I can't wait to try them. Need me some Charbono now.
    Cheers!
