Thursday, April 29, 2021 - Gorgeous Bourgogne. Aromas of macerated dark cherries and blackberries, freshly turned earth, blood, fennel, violets... this is quite ripe on the nose, showing a bit of a roasted character, but it stays fresh and juicy on the palate, richly textured for Bourgogne, finishing with great earthy and mineral character. Superb for this level. Bravo!
