Thursday, May 6, 2021 - The color is quite faded, but it doesn't taste as old as it looks. The first taste is like a shot of adrenaline, setting the nerves atingle. The wine mellows with air, but it never lost the core of chewy tannins and acidity. For all that, though, it has moved into a gentler phase, reassuring rather than challenging, with more richness and less fierceness. Drink soon.
