The nose shows characteristic white pepper crozes character but then on entry the acid was really weird, almost fizzy, like chewing rhubarb. This settled down considerably over several hours but it never shook this quite aggressive acidic entry, even though this was followed by attractive ripe red fruit character. I doubt it will ever shed this character. Shame.
