Friday, January 9, 2009 - Opened not decanted. Purchased off the list at the Wood Tavern, Oakland. Subtle, tart fruit on the nose. On the palate: strong tangerine with citrus peel and citrus rind; very light in body with a semi-dry finish. It through some beet slaw like sediment in the last glass. While enjoyable, this seemed really narrow; and never opened up to develop beyond the fruit tartness. Needs some serious time in the cellar to round out, maybe 2-3 years? Good, but I would not recommend to drink any right now if you have some in the cellar.
