Friday, May 14, 2021 - Based on recent reviews I had to give this a try. Decanted 5 hours and then back in the bottle to take to dinner. This was sensational with room to improve somehow. Much more fruit than I remember on the 2018 I had recently in the barn but still very complex with secondary notes starting to poke their head out. This is a wine to go deep on and watch it evolve.

5/17/2021 9:22:00 AM - Thanks for the note!! I too agree that this 2016 has room for improvement. Even after the decant, and over several hours of consumption this wine was rocking, and no sign of it dropping off.
