Sunday, May 23, 2021 - i will keep this short. The new release Giaconda Chardonnay is another absolute stunner in the run of vintages that are all superb. it is flawless but laden with rich complex fruit, and structure for the long haul. Match stick and wood and ripe peach drizzled melons and basically think of every fruit of Grand Cru Burgundy descriptions and then put the = sign and it equals Giaconda.

There are other great and worthy Australian Chardonnays worth seeking out but this is a whole level up again. Phantasmagorical with a capital 'F' !!!
