Sunday, June 6, 2021 - Everything that I love in Bordeaux. Quite simply a sublime, cedary tasty bottle. A rainy June Sunday brought me the delightful news of pot roast for dinner. Down to the cellar went I. Rhine seemed rough for some reason. Today was going to be Bordeaux. But what is ready? Alas, the constant issue on cellar excursions…. Well there is was—- a few remaining bottles of 1995 from a case purchase. I would like to add the cost— $39!

Well, the cork was even, showed little saturation and pulled smoothly. The wine had a bit of cheese and first pour around 3 pm. I let it andouze until dinner at 6.

Well, it’s just a wonder. Some lovely and tasty with the pencil, cedar shaving and tart berries. Ahh. Anthony Barton you made a great wine! Drink now to 2025.
